Monroe’s Live:

7:30pm: Baby Lemonade and Mickey Chaos

At 7:30pm at Monroe’s Live, enjoy the best of emerging new talent with Baby Lemonade and Mickey Chaos. This alternative indie band will storm through their set list of ‘90s infused songs, which are full of haunting melodies and uplifting anthems.

Fronted by singer-songwriter Saoirse Moncrieff, the quartet includes Mickey Chaos on lead guitar and vocals, Shae Walsh on drums and Eva on bass.  The daughter of popular broadcaster Seán Moncrieff, Saoirse has been stepping out as a beguiling songstress, weaving her story through her lyrics to create evocative and romantic music.

With tunes such as ‘One More Glass of Wine’ and ‘Love Song,’ she exudes her vulnerability through her work. Like many artists, Saoirse was inspired to create music as a way to make sense of heartbreak. With over 17 thousand dedicated YouTube followers, it has become her safe space to share her work, raw and unfiltered.

Now, she is on track to develop her sound even further, showcasing her development as an artist as part of this exciting four-piece.

With Support from Mickey Chaos:

In a similar vein, Mickey Chaos is also a rising solo singer-songwriter who will deliver his showcase as support on the night.

The self-described “rock star from Las Vegas” has the drawl of Lou Reed and the soul of Elvis Presley. Born in Wexford, the 24-year-old has returned to his Irish roots after 15 years in the Mojave Desert, crafting songs with a strong punk and indie rock vibe.

Enjoy a night of fresh new music from up and coming artists at Monroe’s Live on Friday, October 13th at 7:30pm. Tickets to see Baby Lemonade with support from Mickey Chaos cost €8 and are available from www.monroes.ie.
