Named The Best Outdoor Space in Ireland, O’Connell’s Bar, Eyre Square, has now launched their new website, showcasing official merchandise, exclusive access to drinks partnerships and their specially selected Pot Still Irish Whiskey, matured in Powers Midleton Distillery from 2007 and bottled in 2021.
The former grocery store has grown to become one of Galway’s most loved places to meet, eat and drink since the 1970s, retaining its nostalgic atmosphere with cosy snugs, original tiled floors, antique lighting, stained glass windows, solid wooden seating, historic photos and a pressed tin ornate ceiling.
Outside, their award-winning Beer Garden has a mock streetscape, Gin Lane, a custom bar and retro fit vintage neon signage, to bring the space beautifully from day to night.
Dine on delicious food from Dough Bros pizza and Prátaí chips. Enjoy delectable cocktails, a creamy pint of Guinness or their exclusive 12-year-old whiskey, to the best of live music, 7 days a week.
