Bad Manners are Back

Legendary ska band Bad Manners will bring the 1980s back to Galway this autumn with a gig at Monroe’s Live.  Notorious lead singer Buster Bloodvessel returns to deliver the best of Bad Manners’ stomping tunes to the Monroe’s Live mainstage on Saturday, November 26th.  Known for his antics and high energy performances, this will be a night to remember, as they revive their classics.

From ‘Lip Up Fatty’ and ‘Can Can’, to ’Special Brew’ and ‘Walking in the Sunshine’, Bad Manners will bring the house down with their musical stylings from the two-tone era. Take a step back in time, ska style, with these icons of the genre.

Ska Mania

Having toured the UK in 2016 to celebrate their 40th anniversary, Bad Manners are set to take Ireland by storm.  With a musical legacy stretching back to the early ‘80s, this band spent weeks at the top of the UK singles chart. From there, they toured the globe, following the success of their first four studio albums.

“We are delighted to welcome Bad Manners,” says Peter O’Sullivan of Monroe’s Live. “We can’t wait as they bring their unique ska brand to the west of Ireland.

“Ultimately, Bad Manners date back to a time when the likes of Madness and The Specials dominated the charts. As a result, it’s set to be a fantastic night out. Not only for fans of the band, but for anyone who loves this genre of music.

Step Back to Ska

“Moreover, it’s a chance to revisit their top hits. And to take a nostalgic trip back to when the ska era was at its peak. Bad Manners toured the world.  Now, we have a fantastic opportunity to catch them in Galway this autumn at Monroes Live.”

To see how Buster Bloodvessel will behave, or not, don’t miss your chance to see these legends of the ska scene right here in Galway.
