Show Me The Funny Heats Up for 2022:

Show Me The Funny, Ireland’s longest running and biggest comedy competition makes a welcome return to the Kings Head for 2022. The talent show for comics features four heats each Monday night from February 7th to March 7th. Essentially, local funny man Gerry Mallon hosts the show, bringing the laughs year in year out. Most of the time. As such, he oversees the ten new comedians performing each night. The top two from the heats go onto the grand finale on March 7th.

A Career Launchpad:

This comedy show has long been a launchpad for aspiring stand-ups. The accolade alone is enough to open new doors. In this way, the winner secures a paid gig at Electric Picnic 2022. On top of this, they also receive 3 VIP tickets for the festival. If the coveted top spot is not yours to behold this year, runners up are not left out. They win the chance to perform at other Irish festivals throughout the year. Undeniably, the Galway comedy circuit is renowned worldwide.
