Galway’s Ultimate Outdoor and Indoor Adventure Centre:
Just 10 minutes from Galway city, Wildlands has indoor and outdoor activities for all ages, including Zip ‘n’ Trek, Zip ‘n’ Trek Junior, Fun Walls, Archery, Bushcraft, Disc Golf, Yoga, Off Road Adventure (mini 4×4 driving), woodland walks, Fairy Trails and more.
Wildlands is a fantastic Galway adventure experience. Rain or shine, Wildlands is jam packed with family fun escapades to bring a smile to young and old alike. We are always on the lookout for outdoor activities in Galway and Wildlands has it all. It is easily accessible, just a short drive away from Galway city centre, at Ballyquirke, Moycullen. Whether it’s ziplining through the park with a birds-eye view of the stunning vista, or sitting back and enjoying delicious food, there is so much on offer at this incredible indoor and outdoor facility.
Enjoy a panoramic view of the park and watch people zipping overhead as you dine in the Olive Tree Kitchen. Their menu champions locally sourced and home-grown ingredients, including vegetables from the Wildlands garden on site. As a result, this makes it one of the top places to eat in Galway county. For example, the Firebrick pizza is a firm favourite, cooked in front of you in a traditional Neapolitan pizza oven. Not only that but for the outdoor types, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on Ballyquirke lake returns in spring 2022.
More To Come:
But there is so much more to the Wildlands experience. While it is top of the list for outdoor activities in Galway, there are constantly adding to their indoor adventures. In light of this, they will open the Celtic Challenge Rooms – a 24 Crystal Maze style escape rooms with an Irish Mythology twist – in early 2022.
For the little ones, Cloud Climb is a unique playground maze combined with net tunnels that allows you to jump and climb through layered clouds within a safe play system, without the need for a harness. Suitable for ages 4 to 10 years. Moreover, their outdoor playground continues to delight.
